Synopsis

Donny, a man who lives in a city with average economy, living in peace at the city that crowded with people, he decided to take his holiday for camping in a forest to relieve himself from stress and problems that keep disturbs his mind in a very long time, he packs his things for it and travel to the camp site with his car, he meets another campers and talk so many things with them, he have so much fun until the sun is starting to drown, they build a camp fire and build tents together in a circle, after that, when midnight comes, something happens and that feels things goes wrong for Donny, even his instinct tells him to go back home while he have no idea what’s going on around him and he find an unexpected moment and that’s will be the only one moment which happens so terrifying for him. He discovered a group of cannibal peoples that actually it’s the campers he had known.

Character & Characteristics

Donny
The main character of this story, he’s grown man with good personalities but can’t handle problems that makes him overthink it.

Risni
The protagonist of this story, she’s college girl, a genius woman that can outsmart almost everything that comes to her life.

Tobby

The antagonist of the story, a manipulative leader of the cannibal group, his looks may like a good guy that could trick someone.

Serene
Antagonist of the story, a member of the cannibal group, she’s a pretty girl yet has a dark truth about her.

Fred
Antagonist of the story, a member of the cannibal group, he’s the big african guy but less intelligent.

“The Green Shades”

One day, morning’s sunshine shines a city, there’s a short straight black hair man with his name Donny Hecker lives in an apartment, he’s gets up from the bed, “Another same day to suffer in my life.” He said with forceful smile, he picks up his phone, watching to its screen to check is there any notification he that he got, only few tasks of his work from home job that has given for him and when he see the date “10^th March 2012” he remembered that tomorrow its his holiday time, he take a deep breath of relieve from his past problems, like he had divorced parents when he was a teenager, but he let it all pass and flow like a river, because there’s not much he can do about it, after that he goes to the shower to take a bath, cleaning himself from smelly and tiredness things to refreshing his own body.

After that, the dress himself up with nice clothes that he bought, a black t-shirt and long sport training pants, he wears it not to meant for goes outside for sports, because it’s the material of his clothes that he feels comfort with, then he walks to the kitchen to cooks his own breakfast, a rice and an egg with sauce, simple yet delicious it’s enough for him, he eats it to fulfill his stomach for work, after that he goes to computer to do some reports tasks and he’s doing his freelancer job. “Alright, lets done this all lads, they will not be done by itself” said Donny to encourage himself before doing all of his work with full energy that he has, he starts to do his work, he working all reports he got such like making tables of report that filled with a lots of data things, making some important business documents, he proceed that with careful, detailed like how professional does, and also doing his freelancer job as a designer, doing every works that his clients wanted for, he’s used to be in this situation, cause his doings are paid worth that he has chosen for.

Finished all of his works, Donny smiled and close his eyes “Damn~, so nice to done all that things though, finally I can give myself a beautiful self reward!~.” said himself and lays to his bed to rest his tired body that has staying on the computer for hours of works that he needs to be done in a one day with fast as he can, Donny started to thinks about what holiday that he should decide, he’s thinking about beach, but he doesn’t like the hot temperature of sun that burn his skin, then he has idea from one of his friend’s old discussion about camping, he seems to be interested to do that for his holiday, after that he plans on rent the camping kits near his apartments, packing things that he will needed for it, such as clothes, tissues, foods and drinks and many stuff that should important later for him in his camping holiday, he hope that this will be the best holiday for his self-reward ever in his whole life.

After all preparing that he did, Donny checks his car on the night time, it’s on full fuel and no problem at all, then he ready for his trip to camp site, Donny put all his stuff like packs and camping kit that he had prepared for it, then he goes to his bedroom and having a rest and sleep well on his bed, he dreaming something, in an empty white place he see an old house, it looks like made from an old wood, a simple architecture design, Donny tries to go to the house but weirdly he still didn’t close enough with it, he tries to run yet it didn’t do any changes, it feels like the house itself are moving backwards against him, or something holding his position to stay in his place, and after that weird dream he has experienced, he wakes up from his sleep on midnight, he looks things around him, but nothing seems to be worried for him so he decide to go back to his sleep and nothing disturb him again on his peaceful sleep until tomorrow morning.

Sounds of his alarms rings and wakes up Donny, he slowly open his eyes and feeling very happy today, it’s time for him to enjoy his own moment to relax fully with nothing to worry about, Donny looking on the window watching the skies, a very beautiful blue sky that he never seen before “What a beautiful scenery today, really boost my holiday hahaha~.” Said Donny with really amazing good mood on his holiday, he goes to his bathroom with mumbling some of his favorite music he always listens with, he washes his own body, washing his faces, cleaning his tooth, and voila he’s done taking a bath, he went to his room takes his outfit for his trip, a nice jackets, t-shirts and jeans that he had bought before, he wears it and looking at the mirror “Who’s the handsome man?? hehe.” Said himself with cheerful voice, after that he goes to his own car and starts its engine, he adjusting the mirrors before starting his trip, and finds a campsite he can found on his phone.

Donny searching the campsite on his phone, he opens the map application and found a little far away from his hometown, the campsite has its name “Forest Forever” seems a nice name that makes him think “Hmm… this place seems interesting… Forest Forever… the forest seems to be so comfy until you decide to not go back home? I think? Ahh kinda funny name, but that doesn’t look bad enough.” Said Donny about the campsite’s name, he starts riding his own car on his way to the Forest Forever campsite, on his road trip he’s not familiar with the roadway he’s following on his phone’s maps, the surroundings of its roadway its just a trees like how forests it is, no rest area or things that often normally spotted while on his trip way before “Man…, no rest area? I hope the fuel is enough, however the campsite doesn’t far away from here, maybe it’s good idea to play some music on my playlist while on my way.” Said Donny who plays his music while still on his way, when he almost reach the campsite place, he sees another car driver, he speeds up his car and try to talks with that car driver on its side.

“Hello!~, you’re gonna camping at the campsite too?.” Said Donny who louden his voice to talk with another car driver, then the car besides him start to open its windows.

“Yupp!~ you’re gonna camp too??” Answers a voice of a woman, Donny bit surprised and starts to introducing himself.

“Yeah!~ My name’s Donny!~ I’m from a city.” Said Donny

“Ohh Donny?~, Mine’s Risni, I’m a tourist not from this country!~.” Said Risni, the girl that Donny talk with.

After that evening short conversation on the road, both of them arrived at the campsite, they parks their own cars, walking together to the tickets place and meets with the camps member, “Hello, my name is Tobby Ellegant, and welcome to our campsite Forest Forever!~, its our first grand openings! As our first visitors that come here, both of you gets free entrance!.” Said the camp leader, Tobby.

“Ahh~ That’s really great to hear that, a free tickets ehehehe…” Said Donny.

“Huhh.. that’s why there’s no rest area on its way to come here, maybe not yet many peoples knows it.” Said Risni.

“Yeah well … there will be a rest area while on its way to come here, pardon me for the inconvenience experience you’ve been had, but hey let’s go to the camp area shall we?” Said Tobby invites Donny and Risni to come in.

Then Donny and Risni carries their camping kit from cars, and follows Tobby as he walks goes to the camp area, and there’s tents of the camp members, there’s five tents, and also there’s another camp members, a pretty girl and a big African man, Donny and Risni sees them and Tobby introduces another of his camp members.

“Here’s Serene, she’s a camp members who will listen to all your questions, don’t be hesitate, if you have a problems, just call her~.” Said Tobby who introduce Serene the pretty camp member, while Serene greets both of them

“And this one my big guy wohohoo~, he’s Fred, a camp member who manage logistics supplies, if you need anything, just tell him!~.” Said Tobby introduces the big African man, Fred, he’s nicely smiles to Donny and Risni.

After that, Donny and Risni sets up their tents with the help of camp members and prepare other things like supplies and camping tools & stuff they needed, and finally they build up the campfire.

The sun goes down fully, then night coming up, Donny and Risni with other camp members gathering around the campfire, the camp members plays music, Serene is the singer, Tobby is the guitarist and Fred plays maracas, Donny and Risni enjoys their show playing music nicely, Donny admiring their talents on music are really good, even Risni approve that, then after the long nice music show is over, Fred shows another of his talent, he do a magic trick, Fred take a card, hold the card on his hand, flip his hands and flip it back, then poof~ the card is vanished in a second, everybody is amused with his magic trick, after that Tobby starts the heart to heart conversation time, to open everybody thoughts of what they always hold on inside, such like a problem stuff, then Donny speaks,

“Have you guys ever feels sad when your ideas never being listened just because of the lack social power you have? I really depressed about that man, I always felt disappointed every time with that problems, and yet felt mad.” Said Donny

“Yeah… I’ve been in that situation, but don’t worry about all those problems, there will a time where your own ideas will be heard and everybody approve that.” Said Serene.

“Well… Sometimes people with higher social status are always forget to think being an equal with all people who doesn’t relate with them.” Said Risni.

“Ahh yeah, that situation bro… I never understand about that, I don’t know about people minds when things happen like that.” Said Fred.

“Thank you guys, I really appreciate for being listened like this, I’m feel comfort with you all.” Said Donny

After the conversation ends, they eating together, Serene cooks meats that really delicious “Mmmmm~ is this chicken meat?.”Said Donny and Serene answers with smile and nods, after they full enough, they go inside their own tents, all camp members are sleeps, Donny and Risni sleeps too in their own tent.

Some sound of growling stomach heard, Donny wakes up in the Midnight and want to take a dump, he had full enough before he comes to the campsite, so he decides to go out to the tent while carrying tissues, Donny finds surroundings bushes where he can take a dump privately, he walked far enough for it, and he starts to do that until he feels satisfied and relieved of holding it, surprisingly he see an old house, he feel suspicious about it, Donny slowly sneaks to go close to it, until he close with the house, he peeks what’s inside of it, he terrified of what he see, there’s many corpses of a human that have been skinned, and when he look a bit to the right, there’s a black things that resembling like a human that turn and see him too, Donny quickly crouching and run away in silent while concealing with the bushes, Donny comes back to the camp area, all the camps members tent are empty, Donny go to Risni’s tent, he’s calls Risni, she’s wakes up while open the tent and Donny pulls her and takes her to the behind of the tent.

“Donny!~ where are you!~.” Screaming yet low voice sound, it’s seems like Tobby. “I’m here behind the tent!~.” Donny answers, then Tobby come over him, Donny pulls him too for crouch and hiding, “I see an old house, man!, do you even know there’s a building?? And you know what the worst part of it its? It’s filled with unskin human corpses!~.” said Donny with terrified voice.

“So, you’ve known about that-.“ said Tobby that suddenly hits Donny head with a woods that he had secretly hid it on his back, and also Fred suddenly showed up behind Risni and hit her head too, Donny and Risni fall unconscious and got blacked out.

“Good morning sunshine~, wake up hehe… you know… homeless people… we will do anything in order to fulfill our daily needs…” said Tobby to Donny and Risni who wakes up and got tied together in one rope at the old house. “What the heck is wrong with you???.” Said Risni with anger. “Shut up!~, you have no idea what’s happen right?... fine I’ll tell you for your last lifetime, we all like humans meat… they taste like chicken, nice one… and what’s the best part?... they’re free hahahaha~.” Said Tobby with looks that like a mental illness person. “Now both of you go to sleep… we have uhhh person to sort hehe…” After that Tobby and the others leave the place, “Damn… motherfather…. he’s really a sick person at all.” Said Donny. Then Risni initiatively struggling to release from the rope, Donny follows the struggling from the ropes too, Risni looks around and found an axe that sharp enough to cut the rope, Donny and Risni moves together go get the axe, Risni takes the axe and holds it by her legs, then carefully she chop the rope, Donny gets surprised when she’s chopped it, both of them are free now, but there’s someone who come inside the house, it’s Serene, Donny and Risni pretend to get back being gets tied up, Serene comes closer, “Ohh Donny… poor Donny… poor little boy… wanna eat chicken again? Hahaha-.” Said Serene. “Nah- no thanks, I have money.” Said Donny that suddenly punches Serene in the face that instantly makes her unconscious.

After that both of them gets out from the house, sneaks out on their way to their tent, Donny leads the way, when they almost near the tent, they hear Tobby speaking something “…I told you to carry that axe you mindless trash!.” Some echoing voice of Tobby screaming, they quickly run to their tent, take their car keys, “I have a shotgun inside my car, we need to get there before they do!~.” Said Donny to Risni. Suddenly a flying axe passes through and cuts some of their tent, “There you are!.” Said Tobby from distance, Donny and Risni run as fast as they can to go car park, as Tobby and Fred follows them behind with mad eyes, struggles to walk on the tall grass, Donny almost fall but Risni holds him, until they success arrived at the car park, Risni quickly tries to open Donny’s car but it’s jammed, “I’ll hold them off.” Said Donny who bravely faces both of them, Donny throws a big rock at them, Tobby gets knocks on his head, while Fred toughly resists Donny’s rock attack, while Risni almost unlock Donny’s car, its annoyingly jammed, Donny defend himself from Fred’s attack, he punches Donny’s hand that it’s in defend stance, Donny feels really pain because of great damage he takes from Fred’s until he’s falls down and gets punched on his chest, he coughed bit of blood, Risni finally takes Donny’s shotgun and boom! Shoots Fred with two shoot wounds him, and he’s dead, and also she’s shoot on Tobby who gets wakes up and tries to throw axe at her.

Risni carries Donny who gets wounded so bad, he keeps coughing and breath poorly, she’s takes him to his car then rides quickly to the nearest hospital she can find, while Donny starts to black out again, Risni rushed his car as fast as she can drive until she found the hospital and saves Donny from his wound, Donny quickly gets inside, the doctor and his staff are treat him, and after hours of wait, the doctor comes out from the room, and tells Risni about Donny’s condition, the good news is, he’s safe now.

Risni reports this incident to the police station, surprisingly there's a lot of cases of missing peoples, the police searches to the campsite location and it's been proofed that the cases of missing peoples are found and become the victim of the cannibals group camp.
